This is one of a series of reports produced by Education Intelligence that explores Hot Topics in the arena of international higher education from perspective of students globally. This series is produced by analysing the huge wealth of decision making data collected by Education Intelligence since February 2007 via our on-going questionnaire based survey, and qualitative interviews and focus groups carried out by the team.

By May 2012 over 153,000 responses to the Student Insight survey had been collected globally.

Education Intelligence also conducted seven focus groups with schools students considering studying overseas, current international students studying at university, guidance counselors advising school students on overseas study, and education agents.
