Developing research co-operation projects with India

The UKIERI programme has to date supported over 80 co-operative research projects involving leading Indian and UK research teams. Additionally over 40 joint higher education programmes are continuing between the two countries - offering short professional programmes, diploma courses as well as under and postgraduate degrees in collaboration with Indian institutions.
A series of evaluation studies, concerning experiences with all these partnerships to date, has recently been undertaken. The objectives of this workshop session is to encourage delegates to learn from each other, to share experiences and to hear about the implementation of a range of co-operation projects. Additionally pairs of presenters will explain the lessons they have learned from working together.
