Employer perspectives - is international study worth the investment?

International businesses value graduates and postgraduates who have a global perspective and have had exposure to different cultures, countries and ways of thinking and working. With a highly competitive graduate job market, equipping international students with skills for work is more important than ever. Work placements, curriculum design, and careers support are vital elements in achieving this. How can businesses and universities work more closely together to provide attractive work and study opportunities to international students? How can businesses better articulate the capabilities and experiences they seek in graduates? How does UK higher education equip students with relevant work experience and how does this compare to other countries? How can an international education experience bring benefits not just to international students but also enrich the learning experiences of all students?
