B.2 THE World Reputation Rankings of 2013: the official worldwide launch!

5 March 2013 - 08:30-09:45

Live on the morning of their worldwide release, Phil Baty provides an exclusive first detailed look at the results of the 2013 World Reputation Rankings, powered by Thomson Reuters. The launch will be followed by a probing question and answer session. The THE World Reputation Rankings employ the world's largest invitation-only academic opinion survey to provide the definitive list of the top 100 most powerful global university brands. The exercise had gathered the expert views of almost 50,000 experienced academic staff from all over the world in just three short annual surveys.

A spin-off of the annual Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the reputation league table is based on nothing more than subjective judgement - but it is the considered expert judgement of senior, published academics - the people best placed to know the most about excellence in our universities. Who are the true global university superbrands? Whose stock is rising in the ever competitive global higher education market? Are public funding cuts, visa concerns and structural reforms harming Britain’s global reputation? Are internationalisation drives in China, South Korea, the Netherlands and Canada starting to pay reputational dividends?
