Internationalising Higher Education

Dr Ahmad M Hasnah is the Associate Vice-President for Higher Education, Education Division at Qatar Foundation for Education, Science, and Community Development in Doha, Qatar. Dr Hasnah has been a member of the Education Committee since 2002. Dr Hasnah is a member of Qatar Foundation's Strategic Research Board, chaired by Her Highness the chairperson of Qatar Foundation. He represents Qatar Foundation in the Joint Advisory Boards of Texas A and M University at Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University at Qatar, and Virginia Commonwealth University in Qatar. He is a member of the Steering committee of Qatar National Research Fund and the Task Force Committee on Biennale Education. He is the Vice-Chairman of the steering committee for a new initiative of Qatar Foundation, the World Innovation Summit for Education. He is the Vice-Chair of Financial Aid and Scholarship Committee and chairs the Study Abroad Education City Committee of Qatar Foundation. He is a member of the Academic Bridge Program. Dr Hasnah holds a Masters (1993) and PhD (1996) in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, USA. Dr. Hasnah has over 40 refereed publications in esteemed journals and conferences.
