John Bramwell is a highly experienced manager in the field of international higher education. He has a background of over 20 years experience in senior management in HE in the UK, followed by an international education career including establishing centers of higher education for governments in key developing markets (education/ business enterprise unit in Oman, Institutional Research and Quality Assurance unit in Kazakhstan, a new further/ higher education institution in Libya)
John is currently the British Council’s education advisor/ director for the Americas, covering higher education, vocational education, schools, science, society and governance across North and South America. He is currently based in Sao Paulo.
