Internationalising Higher Education

John Donovan is the European Managing Director for McGraw-Hill Education, a position he has held since January 2009. McGraw-Hill Education, a subsidiary of the McGraw-Hill companies, is a leading provider of content in print and digital format to education and professional markets around the world. As well as the many US titles published and distributed each year, McGraw-Hill Education Europe has a rapidly expanding European publishing programme. Having started his career in educational publishing over 18 years ago with Prentice Hall, John Donovan has held various positions and roles within the industry. He joined McGraw-Hill in 2001 and has worked mainly within the higher education business. John successfully headed the European sales and marketing group over a five-year period before taking on the role as European Managing Director for the Higher Education, Schools and Professional divisions of McGraw-Hill.
