Professor Bill Buenar Puplampu
Bill Buenar Puplampu, (PhD, Organisational Behaviour) is an Associate Professor at the University of Ghana Business School (UGBS); Dean of the Central Business School of Central University College and a Chartered Psychologist with over 20 years experience in management development, business education, organisational consulting, university teaching and research. He has taught at the University of Westminster and University of East London. In 2003, he was visiting professor at London Metropolitan University. He was Head, Department of Organisation and Human Resource Management (2004-2009), Chair of the EMBA Programme at UGBS and also Editor of the journal Management and Organisation.
He is Visiting Professor, Pan African University, Nigeria and external examiner, Rhodes University, South Africa; Makarere University, Uganda. Since 2009, he has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Merchant Bank, Ghana. He is a member of the British Psychological Society, Academy of Management, International Association of Applied Psychology and Africa Academy of Management. He has research interests in Employee Motivation, Leadership, Work Values, Organisational Culture and CSR and has been involved in various international research teams working on Corporate Responsibility, Corporate Social Responsibility in the Mining Sector; Leadership and Motivation; Occupational Health and Safety and CSR. He is author of over 40 papers, chapters and conference proceedings.
