Internationalising Higher Education

Ron Perkinson is a New Zealander who has held positions at Chief Executive and Director level in large multinational service industries in New Zealand, Australia and South Africa, spanning more than two decades. For the last six years Ron has had a global responsibility for private education investments made by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank Group. Ron was seconded from New Zealand to the IFC in 2000 to assist with the establishment of a new Global Health and Education Group focusing on private education projects in developing economies.

In November 2006, Ron took up his new role as Senior Vice-President of the recently formed ‘Whitney International University System’ headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Ron represents the International Finance Corporation as well as Whitney International University System at Going Global 2.
