New Students in Motion series on forecasting international student mobility
Forecasting international student mobility from key sending countries such as China, India and Malaysia to traditional hosting countries is the focus of Students In Motion, a new series of research reports from Education Intelligence.
The forecasting model is the result of an extensive econometric investigation which establishes the main determinants and drivers behind students choosing to pursue study overseas.
The hosting countries examined include the US, Canada and Australia. Our research can help you understand why student mobility trends occur, and to potentially anticipate them in the future - looking ahead, predicting student mobility is likely to become even more difficult, considering a world wrestling with an increasing level of political and social unrest.
